Principles

SquadProxy is built for AI teams running lawful research, training-corpus, evaluation, and RAG workloads. The categories below are hard lines for us; accounts observed to violate them are suspended without refund.

Prohibited activities

Unauthorised access

  • Access to any computer system without authorisation from its owner.
  • Circumvention of technical access controls in violation of applicable law (UK Computer Misuse Act 1990, CFAA, §§ 202a-c StGB, Loi Godfrain, and equivalents).
  • Credential stuffing, brute-force authentication, account-takeover workflows.

Training data and copyright

  • Scraping of content where a valid machine-readable TDM opt-out is present (ai.txt, extended robots.txt TDM directives, or Creative Commons-style rights-reserved markers) for purposes that would engage EU Directive 2019/790 Article 4 or UK equivalents.
  • Bulk scraping of paywalled press content.
  • Scraping of any published corpus or dataset for redistribution in a form that would infringe the source licence.

Safety and red team

  • Any "red-team" workflow whose actual purpose is production extraction of policy-violating model outputs for downstream commercial use.
  • Evaluation of models used to protect vulnerable populations (child safety classifiers, crisis-line triage systems) without explicit coordination with the operator.

Malware and abuse

  • Distribution of malware, viruses, worms, or any code designed to compromise systems.
  • Command-and-control communications for botnets or malicious automation.
  • Phishing campaigns or the staging of phishing infrastructure.

Spam and unsolicited communications

  • Bulk unsolicited email in violation of UK PECR, EU e-privacy rules, CAN-SPAM, or equivalents.
  • Unsolicited SMS campaigns.

Regulated platforms

  • Automation against banking, insurance, healthcare, gambling, or government platforms without an explicit contract from the platform owner.
  • Collection that would trigger HIPAA, UK NHS data-handling rules, APPI sensitive-category obligations, or Quebec Law 25 biometric-data rules.

Minors and protected content

  • Any activity targeting minors or children-focused platforms.
  • Access to, distribution of, or scraping of CSAM or equivalent material.

Reporting

Abuse reports go to abuse@squadproxy.com. We respond to all credible reports within one business day and take action (including account termination) where appropriate.
